Proxmox Mail Gateway 8.1 is available! The new version of our email security solution is based on Debian 12.5, uses the newer Linux kernel 6.5, as well as ZFS 2.2.2. The latest major version of Apache SpamAssassin 4.0.0 and PostgreSQL 15.6 are included.

We have enhanced the object-oriented rule system and added a "match-if" mode providing more flexible control. Countless bugfixes and other smaller improvements are included as well, see the full release notes.

Thank you for supporting the Proxmox Mail Gateway project! Your contributions and feedback, tests, bug reports and patch submits are always welcome!

Hey! I realise this might not be the right thread, but I'm sure it'll be welcome.

I have created a fix for OOO messages not being DKIM signed - with Google and other massive E-mail providers rejecting anything which isn't DKIM signed, OOO messages were far off from being possible. (Empty senders will always fail SPF! Now empty senders will default to 'postmaster@<domain>', where postmaster will basically be thrown away. only the domain gets used from what I saw in the code.)

Can a staff member help me get this into production? The relevant issue has been open for a while: https://bugzilla.proxmox.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2971

i'm an enduser and i'm having difficulties with the spam filters on my mail subs gateway... Cybermesa is using 8.1.6 (that's what is on the the header when i log in)..
i had asked Cybermesa to up the filter a bit because i had a spate of spam making into my local inbox... So, of course valid mail began collecting in the quarantine area and i went through and flagged everything back to 19 02 2025 either Whitelist or Blacklist... every day since items that have been whitelisted still wind up in the spam quarantine... what should i do ? Cybermesa doesn't want to hear from me again since their last reply would be that if they heard again things weren't working out they'd simply remove my address from your gateway filtering and i'd be without any spam protection ...
